Converting your AVI, or MPEG movie into Windows Media Video for the web. Okay, you’ve gotten your sweet video created and outputted into an AVI format. Now you need to format it in a way that will make it ready for the Web. We are going to be using Windows Movie Maker, a free program for Windows users (Sorry Mac.) Follow these Steps: 1. Open Windows Movie Maker program, Click the "Browse" button(image0001) and select your video file . ![]() image0001
2. After the video has imported you will see multiple thumbnails depicting the different scenes of your video. (image0002) ![]() image0002
3. Drag each video into the timeline bellow. (image0003) ![]() image0003
4. Choose the “Save to my Computer” option under, "3. Finish Movie". (image0004) ![]() image0004
5.Pick a name for your movie and a location. (image0005) ![]() image0005
6. Choose the radial button “Other settings” and from the Pick List choose Video for Lan(768kbps)(image0006) ![]() image0006
7. Select “Next” and your movie will convert. ![]() image0007
8. Once the movie is complete click “Finish”. You know have a video that is optimized for the web and ready to be upload to the Epic underground. Click here to upload your video NOW! |
